Genesis Intelligent Assistant allows you to access features on your Genesis vehicle remotely from anywhere. Start your vehicle, lock or unlock your doors and more.
With the Genesis Intelligent Assistant App you can:
• Remotely start your vehicle
• Search and send Points of Interest to your vehicle
• Remotely unlock or lock the door
• Check if your doors are locked or unlocked
• Remotely activate the horn and lights
• Find your car
• Access your saved POIs
• Make a service appointment
• Access Genesis Connected Services
• Access maintenance information and Monthly Vehicle Health Report
• Receive calculated departure messages for synced calendar events with location
• Receive proactive notifications to remotely start and cool or heat your vehicle based on current temperature
• Access widgets for Remote Features, Parking, POI search & Send to Car, and more
 
Genesis app also supports Wear OS features. Use voice command or Smartwatch menu to access select features.

• Remotely start your vehicle

• Set parking meter reminders

Ratings and reviews

It's been OK... Beware the daily refresh limit. App has been OK for the most part, sometimes you get a random issue connecting which is frustrating. That said, my major complaint is the daily refresh limit. I was traveling long distance and had to make frequent charging stops and I could no longer refresh my status or connect which was super aggravating. . If there is a need to limit or cap the refreshes, it should at least be for shorter amount of time and be transparent about the amount.

App has a tendency to get stuck/crash during startup on my Pixel. Only fix I've found is uninstalling and reinstalling it - but I've had to do that twice already. Until this is fixed, the app is basically trash and deserves a one star. It's like they didn't test the software and don't bother with telemetry/alerting needed to deliver a quality product.

I've been consistently using the app for almost a year now. I have to say that it has definitely improved since I last wrote my initial review. The app has been responsive and quick, which was a huge problem before. My requests to turn on the vehicle and set temperature have been fulfilled very reliably. Overall, I'm impressed with the progress that Genesis has done with the app. Also, Google Assistant integration has been a huge plus! Not even OnStar has that covered.
