it's a shame that such a great car maker can't make their software work. For several days I tried to add my newly purchased car to the app, activate it within the car, or using the account in the browser. No luck. "Something went wrong". "Something". After 10 years of development, they can't onboard people who spent almost 200,000 dollars on their car. These people still live in the 1950s, and have no idea what is UX, UI and Identity and Access Management.

It's been a month since my car status has been updated in the app. I have emailed and called customer service multiple times with little to no contact back. I know for a fact my account is just stuck in a stale state and can be fixed by someone just looking at my porsche account and having it fixed as this happened last year. One time I was able to talk to a customer service agent, they basically dismissed me. If you are considering a Porsche, beware and do not pay for this service.

Not bad, not useful. It quickly found my car after logging in through myporsche website. And if you arent familiar, getting your car added is "approved" by porsche, not "submit anything". I don't have a taycan, but I guess that's the only thing available for "tips and tricks" so far. Seems lacking in functionality for now, but overall flow is nice. It's a nice start and will keep for updates. I wouldn't be surprised if pfs is denied, due to security required (like banks). Hopefully less gossip?
