From the Autostadt in Wolfsburg to the Westerburg moated castle and from the Marienborn memorial to the German division in Marienborn to Wolfenbüttel Castle, you will learn lots of interesting facts about this region.
Each tour includes two digital "stamping stations" with comprehensive information in text and audio format. With this innovation, the popular "collecting stamps" is now also popular among cyclists.
Those who have collected 50 digital stamps will receive the "Elmi-Rad Nadel" for the Elm-Lappwald Nature Park from the tourist information offices in the region.
The "Elm-Lappwald Experience" app is your digital companion on bike tours.
It shows your current position, the route, information about the tour, but also POIs along the route and the position of the information/stamp points.
Not only can you use it to collect the stamps "digitally", you also receive a digital sticker at every information/stamping point.
When you get close to the information/stamping point, a pop-up will appear and you will hear a beep. After pressing the OK button you will receive the digital stamp and a sticker with more information about this place as MP3 information as well as image and text.
You can now collect the stickers in the app in the same way as in an album.
You can call this up again at any time and listen to the MP3 information.
Function description:
The map data is loaded during the installation of the app. You can then use the Elm-Lappwald app "offline". This means that an internet connection is no longer required. An online connection must be established to access external websites, e-mail and telephone calls. If no WLAN is available, activate the "Mobile network" switch in your smartphone's settings. Please note that this is at the expense of your data volume.
In order for your current position to be shown on the map, please confirm that the app has access to your device location.
You can find further information on operation in the "Help" menu.
