The main functionalities of orzobirra.net Peroni for the management of barley
Designed for two-row barley producers in the Peroni High Quality Supply Chain, this app allows for simplified access to the Peroni barleybeer service when accessed from mobile devices. Access to Peroni barley beer from the app provides the most frequently used functions of the DSS, such as: weather, phenology, nitrogen fertilization and risk of fungal diseases. The latter in particular presents the output of the Peroni barley beer mathematical models in a simplified and more rapid consultation format, combining the practicality of use from mobile devices with the recognized scientific reliability of the Peroni barley beer models.
The following macro-functions are enabled: consultation and modification of company master data, creation and modification of attributes of production units and records relating to cultivation operations, as well as consultation of meteorological data, phenological model, risk indexes relating to fungal diseases and the advice relating to nitrogen fertilization.
Authentication
It takes place using the same username and password provided to access Peroni barley beer from the Horta portal, while guaranteeing a direct connection to the service, saving the selection from the Horta reserved services menu.
Usage notes:
1. a Peroni orzobirra user can access the service by logging in with the same credentials either from the Horta srl ​​portal or through the app;
2. access to Peroni barley beer from the app offers a reduced set of macro-functions of the service, while access from the Horta portal offers full functions;
3. the periodic renewal of the access credentials to the Peroni barley beer service must be performed by authenticating from the Horta portal;
4. the data saved by accessing orzobirra Peroni through the app will also be visible by accessing the service through the Horta portal and vice versa;
5. the UP form has some pre-compiled items depending on the area, with the possibility of modification;
6. at farm level, there is the possibility of configuring a list of preferred technical means (phytosanitary products and fertilisers) which will be presented by default when entering the operations in the Crop Operations Register (ROC). This novelty will make it easier to insert the fertilization operations and defense treatments in the ROC itself
