My favorite audiobook player. Its as straightforward as most desktop players. No fancy library/playlist functions, it just plays all audio files in a folder, and supports bookmarks that persist after switching files/directories, which is highly useful if you are like me and flit between a dozen different books at any given time. I gave the devs the 2 dollars for the paid version when i realised there was one. After hundreds of hours of listening, I figured they had more than earned it.

I've thought for a long time the apk is BRILLIANT... However I just discovered it's even better, you can play "iTunes" without conversion. There is one more item which makes SAP standout far above the rest, a volume control. While I have the free version, buying the apk is definitely on my 'To Do' list. Let's face facts, accolades are nice, but currency is better. EDITED May 01: Unlike so many others, SAP keeps getting better & better!

I've been using this for several years and it works great, doesn't stop payback when the screen is off, controls are simple and easy to use, it supports every format I've thrown at it, can easily save bookmarks, etc Only issue I've had is with Android 13 I can no longer delete folders (can still delete files). I used to be able to do this on my previous device and the app has all the permissions its requesting so I don't know what's up.
