Pacer PRO is an app, which helps trainers, sport scientists or athletes itself to undertake a shuttle run test.
The aim of a shuttle run test is to run as long as possible - until the runner reaches his maximum effort - back and forth between two markers at the speeds indicated by the sound signals of the app. It is often used as performance test as e.g. for soccer players. The result indicates the aerobic exercise zone and the threshold between aerobic (endurance training) and anaerobic zone (hardcore trainng).
The following values can be configured in Pacer PRO:
* Start speed in kmph or mps (e.g. 7 kmph)
* Level duration/Level distance in seconds/meter (e.g. 60s)
* Speed modification in kmph or mps (e.g. 0.5 kmph)
* Section distance in meter (e.g. 20m)
* Break between levels in seconds (e.g. 15s)
* Start position of runner (left or right) for possible lactate measurement
