The app works as described, but I get constant ad notifications. At least a few a day. Of course, the notifications can be turned off in app settings, but I haven't tried that yet. Not sure if it will disable ezcast if I don't allow ad notifications. I'd prefer a paid pro version with no ads, but (as far as I can find) there isn't one.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please turn off the EZCast notification from your phone Settings. For iOS, please turn off by iPhone Settings>Notifications>EZCast>Off. For Android, please turn off the notification from your installed apps.

I spent an entire afternoon trying to get this app to work right. Not only does it not work right, it never sent me the confirmation email I needed to activate the account. I went around and around with this software and uninstalled it. The problems were just too numerous. Instructions enclosed with HDMI adapter not well written. Screen shows this is the software needed to use it...link to QR code goes to non-existent page error, cannot update it... 6.0 Android phone. It just doesn't need to be so difficult!

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please kindly check whether the confirmation emails were sent to your spam mail box. And you couldn't connect by scan QR code, this issue may due to your dongle is too old and haven't supply this function. Please turn on your phone Wi-Fi and connect to EZCast SSID, then turn on EZCast App to pair.

I have tried using this with a tablet and my Android phone, and neither one can detect any WIFI signal from it. On the phone, I can get this app to display on the TV, but when I leave the app to go to another app, it quits working completely. Also it doesn't detect my device at all! I have tried USB tethering and USB debugging, gone through the directions several times, and nothing works! Total waste of money!

Dear User, Your dongle is Wire dongle without any Wi-Fi module, so that you could not detect any Wi-Fi signal. That Wi-Fi search feature is designed for Wi-Fi dongle user not you, please understand it. About leave EZCast App then is closed, please check the permission and permit EZCast run in background. And we suggest take a new one USB cable.
