About this app

Ever wonder what is on your cat's mind as they chase that elusive red dot or sit on your laptop mid-Zoom call? Cat parents, we get it! The feline mysteries are endless, and sometimes, their cryptic meows leave you baffled.

Picture this: you become feline-fluent, and are able to figure out what your cat wants 24/7! Your cat is your life's biggest enigma, and MeowTalk is the decoder and translator ring you didn't know you needed!

MeowTalk is the worldā€™s first science-backed and AI-powered cat translator app. Our mission is to help cat owners understand their catsā€™ needs better and make sure their pets live the longest and happiest life possible:

šŸ¾ Every 'Meow' Meets Meaning: Understand your cat's every mood and need with the more accurate cat translator ever.
šŸ¾ Strengthen Your Bond with your Cat: Forge deeper connections with your furry friend.
šŸ¾ Cat Translator 24/7. Turn Meows into 'Meow-nificentā€™ Moments: Create an eventful timeline for your cat and save their adorable meows to listen to later.
šŸ¾ Cat-astrophe Prevention: Say goodbye to those 'cat-astrophic' misunderstandings!
šŸ¾ Over 280 Million Meows Analyzed: Cat parents from around the world trust us to accurately translate each 'Meow' to human language.

Cat scientists say that cats primarily use meows to communicate with humans, as they instead use body language and smell to communicate with other cats. Their research shows that every cat will know a different number of words than other cats, and they all meow differently, but most of them express generic intents, or states of mind.

MeowTalk created a proprietary AI-powered model and trained it on cat vocalizations collected and labeled by veterinarians during scientific research. AI analyzes sounds captured by your phone, recognizes cat meows, categorizes them into one of the 11 general states of mind, and interprets them into human language.

The cat translator free app version provides access to the translation service with 3 basic meow intents. The rest of the intents will be blurred.

MeowTalk Premium subscription provides a more advanced experience:
- No blurred translations: unlimited access to all meow intents.
- No network ads!
- Auto-translate mode: translating multiple cat meows to human language at a time.
- Keep track of all cat meows with Translation history.
- Download audio recordings to your device.
- MeowRoom: turn your old phone into a smart speaker for cats and stay connected to your cat 24/7, even when youā€™re not at home.
- Train the MeowTalk app to understand your catā€™s unique vocabulary of meows better.
- Custom lingo, surprising translations, and more surprises in the amazing cat to human translator!

Let's shape the future of cat-human communication together, one meow at a time.

Yikes! No more free. This is way too much fun and surprisingly accurate. the microphone is very sensitive and picks up even my cats tiny, wimpy little meows. it just told me that he's saying pay attention to me. as I was tapping that's correct, he pounced on my foot to be sure he got my attention. confirming a translation is one simple press. if you disagree, pressing a different button brings up a list of translations for you to choose from or type in your own. Multiple cat capabilities too.

Too many ads to use. Once upon a time, I would recommend this to all my friends because it is pretty accurate with cat translations. Now it doesn't do anything but show ads. So many ads, it can't accomplish what you're using it for. The moment passes and this trash app is still trying to serve ads. I loved this app once, but now I'm uninstalling.

I was originally excited to play around, hearing my cat (LokišŸ’œ) in English. I didn't expect perfection, since there are tons of things even experts don't know to translate yet, but I thought that at least it could pick up my cat's meows, but it didn't. Also, the ads in the app are waaaay over pushed. You can record the cat's voice, then watch an ad, then see a screen that wants you to watch an ad to unblur the translation. Only then can you see the phrase. It's a good idea, but it needs fixing.
