About this app

Danske ID is Danske Bank’s secure authentication app. You can use Danske ID to authorise and approve actions on Mobile Bank, eBanking, District and other Danske Bank requests.

You will need to be registered for eBanking or a registered District User in order to use the app.

To begin using the app, just download the app to your device and follow the activation steps.

When using Danske ID for the first time, you will need your eBanking User ID/District User ID and Passcode/Password.
You will also need to create a PIN code to log on to the app. For extra security you should choose a unique PIN code that you don’t use anywhere else.
Once the activation is complete, your Danske ID is ready to use. Simply log on and slide to approve when prompted by Danske Bank to do so.

Interface is unresponsive, I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times and still can't use it which means I'm having difficulty paying for most online transactions. I'm seriously considering changing my bank after 20 years with danske. Not impressed.

Danske bank apps are the worst among the Finnish banks. Barely usable at all. Now cannot even use the web bank with same device where I have danske id installed. The link provided in the page just gives an error to download the app even if it's available. Who does your design? Please take a look at proper user story mapping process.

Hi Tuomo! I am very sorry to hear that you have been facing issues with Danske ID. If you use eBanking on the same mobile device to which Danske ID is registered, you do not need to read the QR code. In this case, the login recognizes that it is the same mobile device and the login is done with Danske ID in the old way. - Pauliina

Why on earth would it be required to have a lock screen pin on your phone when there's a pin for the app itself??? Now, I'm no longer able to use the app. Having a pin on lockscreen makes my phone case not work as intended, thus making it obsolete.

Hello Ilse and thank you for your review! The latest update version of Danske ID requires the screen lock for security reasons. -Hanna
