About this app

The MyMazda app makes your Mazda ownership experience simpler and more convenient than ever. The app allows you to:
- Register your Mazda vehicles to view maintenance schedule and service history
- Locate nearby Mazda dealers for your convenience
- Download owner’s manuals
- Learn about the latest Mazda technology and developments
- Request Mazda Roadside Assistance
- Stay up to date with recalls

In addition, if you are an all-new Mazda MX-30 or 2021 Mazda CX-5 owner, you can activate Mazda Connected Services through the MyMazda App, which will take your Mazda experience to the next level. Here are a few of the things you’ll be able to do with Mazda Connected Services (all available through the complimentary trial period):
- Remote charging (MX-30 only)
- Remote climate control (MX-30 only)
- Remote door locking
- Monitor vehicle health
- Receive vehicle status alerts
- Easily find your vehicle remotely
- Send points of interest direct to your in-car navigation system

Ratings and reviews

Like so many other reviews, if I'm paying for the app for basic functions for my car, the app should work. Every time. Remote start is basic on every other comparable vehicle these days, but other companies don't charge an additional fee for it. And maybe there was some fine print I didn't read, but when buying my car 4 years ago and asked about remote start, nobody told me that the app they told me to download would one day no longer be free. And it DOESN'T EVEN OPEN!

This app isn't useful. The remote start capability doesn't work (it's a manual transmission), and other than that feature, there's not much there. I'll probably never use the remote lock and unlock. It informs me that the trunk or a door is open, but that's usually because it's open while I'm unloading the car, and the notification arrives long after I've closed the offending trunk or door. The app is OK, but only OK. It's free for now, but when that's over, I sure won't pay to keep it.

the app is pretty limited in what it can actually do and it takes forever to do it. long time just to open, to log in, to open once it's logged in, to tell you the door is unlocked etc. and it doesn't connect to the car sometimes. sometimes the remote start doesn't work and it tells you it failed, sometimes it doesn't work and also doesn't tell you it failed. overall it's unreliable and slow, not a great app, especially for one that costs money. I like what it can do when it works
