About this app

SeaStorm allows you to keep track of tropical storm and hurricane activity in the Atlantic, Eastern Pacific, and Central Pacific basins. Get quick access to what you need to stay informed during hurricane season! Features include:

• Quick overview of active hurricanes, tropical storms, depressions, and other cyclones
• Per-storm advisory & discussion text from the experts at the National Hurricane Center*
• Forecast cones (5-day uncertainty track), wind speed probability, and storm surge maps (when available)

Map issues again " Quota is EXCEEDED " APP No longer maintained. No recent updates. Still based on Android 5??9/7 Message. 8/1 AGAIN WITH A POORLY DEFINED STORM CLOSE THE MAPS WON'T OPEN DUE TO "Quota is EXCEEDED" message!!! 6/30 Maps won't load. "Quota is EXCEEDED " 6/11/24. Getting parsing error. Android 13. 9/26/23 connection errors for tracks. Other app is able to connect.

I may be mistaken but I thought this app used to provide a more informative storm historical track map and continued tracking of storms with projected paths once it makes landfall. I was surprised last night that Hurricane Beryl was just a circle on a map at this point marking it's current location.

Up until several months ago it was my favorite app, would have rated five stars, especially during hurricane season always work flawlessly. For some reason the last two weeks the app has been limiting the number of forecast I can view to two or three a day. Can't understand why it changed. Any explanation? I won't change my rating until I hear back from the developer send an email a few minutes ago.
