About this app

Through a Web and Android application we develop a virtual agenda that represents the daily activities with pictograms and images for the use of children with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). This App replaces the physical agendas recommended by the therapists in a practical and agile way, also generates an interaction between the adult and the child. Through these images that monitor through mobile devices or PC, the child can express clearly and precisely their needs, their emotions, and order their activities and / or routine tasks. Children with ASD need daily sequences of activities and often a simple summary of relevant events during the day. This App, facilitates the anticipation and understanding of situations, even children with autism of relatively low cognitive level and with which visual vignettes should be used as keys of organization of time. The agendas have positive effects on the tranquility and well-being of the children, favor their motivation for learning and contribute to order their lives. In addition, these systems of anticipation are intimately related to the sense of action. It is important to highlight that the agendas help to organize and have a detailed schedule so that the infants feel safe when performing the different daily activities. It is important to emphasize that this condition the child will have all his life.
