My son learned to read on this app, however, there was a few issues. Whenever he reads a longer book, and he accidentally closes the app or my phone turns off, it restarts the whole page. It is a great idea, but I just feel like sometimes the microphone wont work right, and it cant hear him. Lastly, sometimes the timer wont work until you complete a page, and with the first issue mentioned, it is sometimes impossible to finish a book. Overall, it did help and had good stories but it needs work.

Deceptive advertising and fraudulent credit card charge! They advertised it as free for one month with paid subscription starting after a free trial period of one month so I tried it for a day, and decided to cancel my subscription as it wasn't aligned to my needs for classroom based phonics instruction. Turns out it was false advertising and they charged my card $9.99. There was no free trial period. l hate being scammed like this.

Purchased annual subscription thinking if didn't workout i would get a partial refund which isn't the case. My kids didn't like the app. They would have to continuously repeat certain words and for my five year old I would have to say some of the words for the story to progress; she would be so frustrated at That point. This app just didn't us. if you want to try it I suggest not doing the annual subscription just in case you don't want to keep it for the entire year.
