I love the intrigue this game creates. Go to a bridge and learn you need a permit, ask for one and learn you need reputation, take on jobs to earn it and next thing you know you're on a revenge quest. That's just 1 example. These surprises kept me playing 20hrs in when the map was explored and the usual jobs got boring. The combat adds risk, but it's not the core of the game. I just wish I could pick move order/positions. The expansion is worth it. I love how your choices alter the map for good.

The general concept is great, I can have fun doing the odd jobs to amass wealth, fame, and gear. But the combat system is still a long way from being balanced. You basically have to hope the enemies fall into your trap. I feel this game would play a little more smoothly if it worked a little like the XCOM series, It already has the turned based system with different classes, They just need to make each class a little more versatile.

Initially Fun, gets repetative, small play area little replay value. After you get the hang of the battle mechanics it becomes fairly stright forward, and if you select the right quests you can get a semi-permanent 4th member of the team to help you fight (Boar hunter was great). Still there is little variation, and the story doesn't quite go anywhere in the end. Fun concept, could really be a masterpiece with a little more work.
