The VOIZZR PITCH Analyzer-App is part of a research initiative by VOIZZR, in collaboration with a network of universities, associations, organizations, and sports institutions from Germany and Lithuania. This application detects and measures vocal variations in a clear and simple way. The human voice is incredibly sensitive and reacts to various factors such as intense training, insufficient recovery after exercise, mental stress, the female menstrual cycle, or conditions like a concussion. Often, these vocal changes are subtle and go unnoticed. Our goal is to provide support in this domain. Vocal changes are always indicative of an underlying cause, whether it’s temporary events like an exam or extended conversations at a trade fair, injuries, or more permanent changes associated with aging, vocal transformation, or diseases like Parkinson’s or dementia.
Currently, over 6000 individuals use the app to monitor their voices, including educators, singers, and frequent conference attendees. Some organizations and associations use the app to track coughing variations during seasonal illness spikes and take appropriate measures. Patients also use the app to evaluate the effectiveness of their vocal training or speech therapy. Additionally, a metric like the MG score offers women insights into the current changes in their hormonal balance.
Currently, we have some testers for the detection of whooping cough/pertussis. Parents and grandparents with young children, in particular, want to be cautious here. We have noticed that the cough values approach zero when cases of whooping cough have occurred in the circle of acquaintances, in kindergarten, or at school. In such cases, watch for symptoms.
The app is designed for ease of use: simply incorporate it into your daily morning routine. Each morning, speak, cough, or vocalize long vowels into the app at the same time every day, and you’ll begin to establish your personal baseline within a few days. For instance, how long can you sustain the vowel “a”? The longer, the better. We have top athletes in the Bundesliga who can do this for up to a minute, which is indicative of good endurance and healthy lung function. If you’re rushed, stressed, or unwell, these inputs may be shorter. Stress also affects the voice. All these features and more are available in the VOIZZR app, and we’re here to assist with the setup.
The app’s language settings are easily adjustable, and it offers different profiles for friends and family members. You can start with the free version.

PRO VERSION The app is essentially free, but we highly recommend using the paid version. Please note that there is no trial period for the paid PRO Version.
