Good for offline. One thing I would like for them to add is being able to change magnified pieces when dragging them and also being able to change board theme brightness like on the browser/ mobile browser version. Honestly, I'd prefer using the browser mobile version (mainly because I'm used to it), but otherwise, for an app, I find this to be pretty good.

I appreciate the goal of rebuilding the lichess app from the ground up, and I hope the developers succeed in that. However, many of the design decisions here are obviously terrible. For example, in the original app it takes one tap to get into a game from the home screen. In this new app, it takes FOUR. Create game -> time control -> tap the time control you want to play -> play. This is idiotic. Port over the grid of common time controls from the original app and place it on the home screen.

Works really well, the game analysis is more useful and user friendly. If I had one suggestion it would be to differentiate the arrows showing the best moves and the actual move, because it can be a touch confusing when they look the same. Also maybe some different stats or quick game options on the home screen, but that is only a concern when I'm on a losing streak ;)
