The SURFboard Central app is designed to get the most out of your SURFboard device. Now with an updated UI for all our Cable Modem, Cable Gateways (Modem with integrated Wi-Fi) and mAX Mesh router devices.
Use our App to get your device up and running and to securely and easily manage your network!
SURFboard mAX products combine the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax/e) technology with a tri-band design to deliver whole-home Wi-Fi coverage with broadband speeds. With a dedicated 4x4 multi-Gigabit band to link mesh units, you get the speeds you pay for!
After the initial setup, SURFboard Central is your network’s control room, where you can securely and easily manage your advanced system settings.

This app is absolutely worthless! I get to the point of configuring the Wi-Fi for the gateway and receive an error message about "communication failure" with the gateway. The app won't let me go any further in the process to troubleshoot the problem. Can't find any reliable anUnavailable to change the default Wi-Fi settings, especially when customer support is unavailable.

Complete Garbage. Utterly useless if not for the fact that Arris is removing functionality from the web interface on devices. Doesn't even work well as an app; had to literally scroll for over 20 seconds to get through just one of the ridiculous terms of services windows. Also trying to go back a screen shouldn't take a dozen taps or swipes to get it to work.

Terrible app. I can't even set up the router because it won't recognize that I'm connected to its Surfboard setup SSID, despite being on it and re-trying, resets, re-downloads. These 'smart' systems with no buttons and no user control prove to be dumber than ever. I do networking, computer engineering, electrical engineering, and I'm hamstrung by their stupid systems and apps. I'm not going to use their routers even though I got them for free.
