About this app

Sideways is a GPS navigator that will show you the rally pacenotes of any route without having to drive along it beforehand.

Simply input the checkpoints that the route should follow and the bends and their severity will be automatically detected and shown.

You can preview the route as if you were driving along it or turn on the GPS mode and go over it with your car, while the virtual copilot reads the pacenotes.

I absolutely love this! it's exactly what I was looking for. My only feedback is I wish that I could use the Italian voice in English, or the Spanish voice in English, like have the voice and language be separate variables. I would also love it if I could save routes and have them work offline. right now the app never loads if you don't have an internet connection

Nice, but doesn't play well with Android Auto . When not connected to Android Auto, the route generation and turn-by-turn pacenotes work really well. However, when connected to Android Auto, the first few seconds of every call gets cut off. App really needs a version that is enabled as an Android Auto navigation app be part of the freemium offering. Would love a $10 to $20 a year premium offering, adding checkpoint times and plus or minus time and/or target speed in the straight away call outs.

After using it a couple of times I absolutely love it! things I wish were possible though is to : 1) edit pacenotes. Sometimes the corner says 3r and its basically a square right, I wanna be able to change it if I decide. 2) different driver voices, even if it costs itd be cool to have new voices. Amazing app and I could see this having a LOT of potential if done right!
