About this app

Scan postage receipts into a searchable shipping expense log. PostProof extracts tracking numbers, prices, dates, carriers and services, then totals postage spend by month, quarter and reporting year.

WHAT IT DOES

Shipping expense reports
Total your postage spend by month, quarter or reporting year, with a breakdown per carrier and charts. Export CSV for your accountant or PDF for your records. Set the reporting year to start in any month, April by default. It is a calendar-month period, not the 6 April to 5 April UK tax year.

Reads the receipt for you
Point the camera at a postage receipt and PostProof extracts the tracking number, price, date, carrier and service. One receipt can hold several parcels, and it picks up the tracking numbers printed on it.

Long counter receipts
Post office counter receipts can run to a metre of thermal paper. Live Scan reads them as you move the camera down the strip, capturing the parcels along the roll.

19 carriers in one archive
Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, Yodel, Parcelforce, Collect+, Amazon Logistics, InPost, DHL eCommerce UK, DX, USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL Express, Canada Post, Australia Post, Deutsche Post, La Poste and Correos. PostProof detects the carrier from the receipt and links to its tracking page.

Import carrier PDF proofs
Bring in proof-of-postage PDFs from the Royal Mail app and Click & Drop, or screenshots from the Evri and DPD apps. PostProof reads the tracking details straight from the document.

Details for every parcel
Record the destination postcode, weight, price and notes for each parcel. Add your own tags to group receipts however you work.

Claim-window reminders
Carriers accept lost- or damaged-parcel claims only within a limited window. PostProof shows how long you have left to file. It is a reminder only, your receipts are never deleted.

Find any receipt in seconds
Search by tracking number, buyer name or notes. Filter by carrier, date range or status, and sort by date, price or carrier.

Readable long after the paper is not
Thermal receipts can fade over time. Scan one on the day you post and you keep a readable copy for disputes, refunds and business records.

Cloud backup
Back up your receipts and photos and restore them on a new phone. Your data is tied to your own account and encrypted in transit. You can delete your cloud backup any time from Settings.
