Updated 18-Aug-2024. Fossil was ultimately helpful in resolving the previous issue which took multiple emails and ended with uninstalling the app completely. Now I'm back to the scenario where the the watch does not vibrate when the phone is vibrate only. I'm pretty frustrated with this situation that used to work. Notifications are the main reason for the watch. If this cannot be resolved, it'll be time for a new device.

It seems whenever there's a new update or maybe just randomly. The watch would do a factory reset. Making me reconnect the app to the watch from scratch. And every time it gets more difficult to reconnect. So right now I have a watch that will only show me the QR code to get the app. Even though I've own the watch since early this year. This is somewhere around the 5th-6th time. Come on Fossil!!!

App is completely useless. Takes forever to sync with watch. The fact it doesn't auto sync without you opening the app only exasperates this issue. Also, it doesn't provide any additional functionality, with the exception of providing a space for fossil to advertise their other products. This seems to be the main point of this app as these ads are front and center in the app superceding the tiny fitness widget. Everything in this app can be done just as easily if not easier on your watch.
