I believe this app is best suited for retaining what you've already learned. Moreover, I had 5 years of French, and now I don't. This app provides a way for me to keep French refreshed in my mind; instead of completely forgetting it. In other words, I recommend this app to those who already have learned the language. If you're new, you'll still learn something, but not as efficient as taking a class/having a teacher. Additionally, the 5 minutes is alright, paying for unlimited time - for me - is not necessary.

Very engaging and fun, but equally frustrating. I get the "give you a taste and get you hooked and wanting more" concept, but 5 minutes every 10 hours is just too short a time for me to decide if the app is worth paying for, especially since some of the 5 minute sessions were nothing but review of previous words. If each free session lasted 10-15 minutes AND introduced a hint of something new, I'd be more inclined to upgrade now. For now, I'm waiting a few days to see if it has more to offer.

I love this app! It's so thoughtfully designed. After a few days, I bought the premium and I don't regret it at all. It's colorful, extensive, easy to use. I have severe narcolepsy and learning languages is exceptionally hard for me because it's difficult to stay awake. Now I can do 5 minutes at random times throughout the day, review words at any time I need to. If you tap on a word, it gives you the normal pronunciation. If you tap again, it gives the pronunciation slowed down! So cool.
