About this game

Children of Morta is a story-driven action RPG with a roguelite approach to character development, in which you don’t play a single character but a whole, extraordinary family of heroes.

Hack’n’slash through hordes of enemies in procedurally generated dungeons, caves and lands and lead the Bergson family, with all their flaws and virtues, against the forthcoming Corruption. The story takes place in a distant land but copes with themes and emotions common to all of us: love and hope, longing and uncertainty, ultimately loss... and sacrifice we are willing to make to save the ones we care the most for.
Ultimately, it's about a family of heroes standing together against the encroaching darkness.

Fantastic game! Great story, solid gameplay, and lovable characters. Highly recommended. I got stuck in the tutorial when it asked me to press select. Had to use touch controls to get through it. You should let us map ALL buttons for our controller though, not just some of them. It plays great after getting past the tutorial. No problems otherwise. Keep up the good work.

Since I started 'New Game Plus,' the game hasn't crashed, but today it crashed again at the end of the run loading screen, resulting in 40 minutes of lost progress. I didn’t feel like playing it again after that. I feel like I might not enjoy playing multiplayer when it does come out. Fixing the crashing issue should be the top priority.

Update: Devs fixed issue! Changing review to 5 Stars - thanks guys! Such a good port but the main attack button needs some sort of millisecond delay or something, the first attack is literally impossible to aim because as soon as you touch the joystick it swings even though you haven't picked an attack direction yet. I would give this a 5 star if this were fixed but right now it's too big of a frustration to even play the game.
