CMC On Demand is a no cost bus service made available by the County of Cape May. This app will allow the rider to simply and effectively request a free ride within the borders of Ocean City. At any time during business hours (8 am to 4 pm) the rider can request a ride to any location on the island. The nearest available bus will be dispatched to the rider’s location and the app will provide the rider with an approximate pick up and drop off time for this curb to curb service. There is no limit to the number of trips that can be provided to a single rider. This service is fully accessible for all riders and comes equipped with a lift and securement locations for wheel chairs and mobility devices. Passengers with children requiring car seats must provide an adequate car seat in accordance with State law.

Cape May County CMC On Demand Transportation is a fully accessible paratransit service available to all residents of Cape May County. The County receives funding for this service through various federal and local grants and provides service for senior citizens, veterans, disabled residents, individuals of low income and all residents on a first come, first served basis. Each vehicle is equipped with a lift for those passengers in wheel chairs, those passengers utilizing a mobility device or those requiring additional assistance to enter or exit the vehicle. All passengers must be 18 years of age or older to ride alone and a guardian with a child requiring a car seat in accordance with State law must provide that car seat in order to be access our vehicles.
CMC On Demand is a pilot program of CMC On Demand Transportation which provides in excess of 110,000 one way trips each calendar year on any of our demand response or fixed route vehicles. These trips are provided to every area of Cape May County as well as parts of Atlantic County, Cumberland County, Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE.
