Carbon Offset Programme:
You have the opportunity to offset your carbon by protecting and replanting forests. Simply join Shell GO+ Rewards, opt in to the Carbon Offset Programme and scan your digital card in the Shell app when you purchase fuel. The carbon emissions from the fuel purchases will then be offset for you by Shell. We'll be asking for a small contribution per litre during each fill up. Just remember to scan your Shell app when you purchase your fuel. We will calculate the lifecycle CO2 emission rates from your fuel purchases and buy and retire appropriate amounts of carbon credits that protect and restore nature.

Ratings and reviews

Had the app for a while but have only just started to regularly use it. Easy to use and offers okay e.g food and occasional fuel. Only negativity is that despite me closing the app down and turning off notifications etc it keeps autostarting and asking me to play the Costa coffee game on my main screen each time I go to look at my phone. I guess it wants to take centre stage but it needs to work in the background. Not sure wether to delete or disable until I need to use the app.

The app is good but one thing is hard to use here in France, you have to be zoomed in quite a bit to find stations. That does not really work as there are relatively few. Why not show all station on whatever the zoom setting is for the map. Then without having to click another button to show stations, keep showing them as you zoom in. As a Shell retiree with 39 years working for Shell, I expect my feedback ti be acted upon and implemented very quickly 😉.

Loads of links in the app just end up returning a "whoops something went wrong" message, can't add payment cards as I get the same msg. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, no luck. Spoke with help team, they'll get back to you... No response since. ATM the app is not fit for purpose.
