I've been wanting to get back to RSS for my news for a long time, but couldn't stomach what some RSS reader developers are charging for the privilege of using their platform. Enter: Twine. Twine is easy to navigate and use, has a built-in browser for articles, and looks great! If you're looking for a new RSS reader, Twine is definitely worth a look.

Update: The app has improved so much since I last checked it out! It's running great, is really pretty, and loads pretty much all of the feeds I was following on Feedly! Really happy with it. All it would take for this to be a five-star RSS feed for me personally would be a better in-app reader mode, text to speech, and notifications for new articles in a feed. That being said, it's a tight app and you can feel the care being put into it. I really do love it, even despite my personal wants.

Love the UI but unless it gets a readable view instead of opening to web page it's not my cup of tea. I saw a question asked on GitHub about if this feature would be added and the dev said they decided against it because not all sources provide enough content to generate a good readable view. Fair, but lots of RSS readers are able to give a decent readable view for most web pages in my experience. I'm trying to avoid cluttered web pages, so if this feature gets added I will give it another go!
