MEATER® is the world’s first Wireless Smart Meat Thermometer that can help you cook meats perfectly every time.

The MEATER® app, together with the MEATER® meat thermometer (sold separately at https://meater.com/shop) will change the way you cook your meals, and make it a new and exciting experience. Using patented software algorithms, the MEATER® app will give you cook time estimates, and guide you towards the juiciest steak, chicken, turkey, fish or other cut of meat that you've ever cooked.

Ratings and reviews

The app itself is bad and just got worse. It loses connection all the time with the thermometer, whether you have the Bluetooth connection or the meater+ block. Every couple of minutes I'll check my phone for an update only to have the "No Meater Connected" screen. Then when it finally does connect, the cook is over done. That pushed me over the edge to finally write this review. Over a year later and still the same problems. Hate this thing.

Works like it should. Very happy with my purchase. should have bought 2 of them!! App works. It doesn't have good range though. it will disconnect often when you wonder away or go in the house. It does reconnect when I am near it again. Would be cool to see them come with a better range. Other than that it's a great product.

Makes you look like a genius! I've never had a cook fail. Temp is always there. I see people complain about disconnecting and this happens to me sometime. Since I have a Meater the distance the base can be from the probe is a little bit of a problem. I solve that by connecting my old iPad close to the base and it works all the time. I then pull it up on my Android and all is good. If I smoking for hours and it's cold that is a problem with my iPad... I make it work. I wouldn't cook without it
