About this app

Do you want to know the atmospheric pressure?
Here you have an accurate barometer with an elegant analogical dial.

It shows:
- Your local pressure
- The pressure reduced to the mean sea level (the value that every weather forecast service use)
- The pressure got from the nearest airport
- Latest 24 hours pressure chart

Excellent for fishing or if you are simply interested in weather trend.

You can:
- Calibrate the sensor
- Enable automatic periodic pressure recording
- Choose different barometric units (hPa, mbar, mmHg, inHg, psi)


WARNING:
If your device has not an integrated pressure sensor, you will only get the pressure from the nearest airport.

Ratings and reviews

This app requires location permission. I don't want to provide my location, so it refuses to work. My phone has a barometer sensor built in. Location should not be necessary. They just want my location so that they can sell data about me. To the developer's response: I cannot get to the settings, the app literally refuses to do anything until I grant location permission. I get a mostly blank screen with the message at the bottom, "Accurate Barometer cannot work without location permission"

Great app for basic use. The ability to display a selected nearby airport pressure is especially useful for a consistent reading (otherwise my device-measured pressure would be all over the place simply by driving around as altitude changed—I'd love a location & geofence feature for just that reason). I also love the calibration option of device-measured pressure to that of the airport since mean sea level pressure is what we're all used to.

I like the app and use it several times a day. I often get weAther related migraines, so this helps me prepare. I just wish the main dial would have a place to mark the pressure when I see it and can tell at a glance if it's going up or down. I do not like having to go to history to see if it is changing. Although I do like the history feature. Just need a little marker on the dial. I would be so happy for that feature.
