What is COPA Course in ITI? -

ITI COPA is a computer operator and programming assistant course which is provided by ITIs (Industrial Training Institutes). It is one of the popular courses among students who have qualified in 10th standard and have interest in computer fields.

As the name ”computer operator and programming assistant” itself gives an idea that it is a course related to computer management and programming.

ITI COPA course deals with the study of computer functionality and its uses in multiple ways. It provides you a basic knowledge about how to use HTML, how to install the software in Windows, iOS, and, Linux operating systems, how to create a good excel sheet, word document, PowerPoint, OneNote, access, and publisher by using Microsoft software.

It also provides you with a basic programming language, how to use different types of browsers, how to use accounting software, how to make a basic website, and last but not least cybersecurity.

COPA ITI is a vocational training program of duration 1 year that is provided by the Directorate General of Training (DGT) under the Ministry of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship. ITI COPA is a computer operating craftsman Trade.

ITI COPA Course Eligibility -

These eligibility criteria are for students who want to take admission in the ITI COPA course. These criteria are applicable for taking admission in government institutes as well as the private institutes that are offering ITI COPA courses.

*Students should have passed in class 10th examination from a recognized board of education.
*Students should be at least 14 years old.
*Students should know the basic English language.
*PwD people are eligible for ITI COPA Trade.
*Many institutes or colleges take an entrance test before admission. So, if you want to take admission to those institutes or colleges then you have to qualify for their entrance test and get a proper cut-off.
