The app worked great last year, but I've noticed a few things recently regarding scheduling. The "summary" for each program isn't always accurate. I have two programs.... program B says "Not scheduled", which is correct. If I disable all start times for Program A, it still indicates it will run at the last scheduled time. Additionally, last night I set it to run on odd days at 2am. Today (May 31), it did not run. I changed it to run tonight at 9pm and the summary says it won't run til tomorrow.

For the last two years the app and rain bird controller have a hard time communicating. The app keeps giving me giving a communication error. It's definitely not on our end and WI-FI issues. It's the rain bird app!! We have zero problems with any other apps and Wi-fi connectivity. Reading through the Google reviews, it Rain bird for sure! I would not recommend buying any rain bird sprinkler module until rain bird fixes the issue.

I "had" the Wi-Fi enabled Rainbird ESP-Me controller and app for about 8 years. For all that time, this combination has been nothing but a major headache. App fails to connect most of the time (Wi-Fi 4 feet away), painfully slow when it does connect, constantly re-connecting, crashes frequently, won't shut-off a zone once turned on for sprinkler maintenance, etc., etc. From what I've read, Rachio, Hunter, Orbit, et al. are far superior. Not recommended.
