About this app

The new dm app has many attractive advantages and features that can be used throughout Germany.

Shopping in a smart pocket format? With the dm app you not only have the opportunity to buy your favorite products, but you also have access to our services from Glückskind and PAYBACK. You can also find all your coupons here in one overview. You log in via your existing dm customer account. This means the app is tailored to your personal needs.

1. Download the dm app onto your smartphone
2. Log in with your dm account details or register for a new customer account.

The best functions at a glance

Get an overview of the range
Our search function, the entire product categories and our scan function give you a quick and easy overview of the product range. Simply click through our range, search for specific brands or scan products, view previously purchased products, add them to your wish list or start shopping straight away.

Find your dm market
You can use direct access to the store finder to search for dm stores in your area. This gives you easy and quick access to service information from all dm stores. You can also remember your preferred dm store in the app and see the inventory in the selected dm store in addition to online availability on the product pages. If you have noted your dm market, you can also check your shopping cart for express pickup and use this new delivery method.

All your coupons combined
In the “Coupons” section you will find an overview of dm’s current special coupons. To view further details, tap directly on the coupon.

One app for all dm services
From now on you can get all dm, Glückskind and PAYBACK coupons in just one coupon center. This makes the process from coupon activation to redemption in the store or when ordering online as easy as possible.

Step 1: Activate coupons
You can add individual coupons to your account using the “Activate” button. You can redeem these in your dm market or when ordering online. You can find the redemption conditions and further information on the respective coupon.

Redeem coupons in the dm market
You will find your customer card in the “My Account” area. To redeem all activated coupons, you can scan your QR code yourself on the customer display at the checkout.

All activated coupons that match your order are automatically included in the shopping cart. If an activated coupon does not match your purchase, it remains active and can be redeemed on your next purchase.

Completely individual with “My Account”
Services such as glückskind and PAYBACK are available to you in the “My Account” area. Thanks to the link to your PAYBACK account, you receive your purchase history with product recommendations. You can also collect PAYBACK points with every purchase in the app. In addition to “Help & FAQs”, you will also find your customer card here.

To register your account in the app you need Chrome or Firefox browser. 3 stars because this is the 1st time I'm seeing this. 😅 Why do you need browser if you're in the app already? Or maybe that's how all apps are functioning, but they do support Opera (which is my preferred browser), so I never noticed it until now. Online store page works perfectly fine in Opera. If this is how all apps are functioning, and my chosen browser is the issue, I apologize. Other then that app looks decent.

Great design, now I like that when I search some product, in listed products first appear my favorites, so then I get to remember what I want to buy, but also helps to make decision from added products (that are temporarily favorite, just added in purpose of comparing liked products). Except that, app sometimes has some bugs, and unnecessary features, like notification of high demand with orders, so delivery might be late. Every time I have to close that pop up. Tip: pin that note in cart page.

Absolutely NOT intuitive. I was trying to find how many points I currently have, and only managed to find it after browsing through 1 star reviews. Total designer fail. Unacceptable. [Edit after OVER A YEAR after my first comment and the app STILL DOESN'T SHOW how many points I have collected. The only place where I can see that is on the invoice after the purchase. If I could give zero stars, I would]
