Ratings and reviews

Potential but plagued by support issues. If you pay for an app, and that is the case here, I subscribed to the premium version, then you should expect at least a minimum level of support to be available. Instead, the chat bot is completely useless unless it's about a wine order. Im having a lot of trouble with the "wine adventures" part, which is a premium service and I cant talk to anyone or email anyone to help me as the bot doesn't understand anything beyond absolute basics. Disappointing.

This app is great for keeping track of my tasting history, managing what I have on hand, learning about wines, building taste profiles. The label scanning feature isn't faultless, but it works pretty well. One issue is that the crowd sourced raring are all all so high as to be not useful and the crowd sourced tasting notes are so all over the place that they are only marginally helpful. Another issue is that over time the UI has gotten pretty confusing, as has some information presentation.

I love this app and have been using it since 2012. Unfortunately some recent "upgrades" have made it less user friendly. Now when scanning wine labels, 8/10 I scan a wine label is says unable to read label, or unable to find this wine, and before this was never an issue. I hope this can be fixed as to try and scan wines while shopping now takes much, much longer than it used to and with 4 kids, it is impossible.

What's new

The newest version of the app allows you to control your Followers list even more so you can stay safe while using Vivino. You can prevent unwanted users from following you and seeing your profile, as well as manage blocked users from your settings. As always, if you have any feedback or suggestions, please let us know.
