I've been using this same Sensi thermostat for close to a decade now. so yes it's one of the earlier models. I'm going to have to upgrade I guess because this sensor doesn't have enough parameter slots to enable up and down swings from outside temperatures. I have set the highs and lows in the automatic setting, but I would appreciate if it had more parameter slots has no to air conditioners are the same. I read this back and this isn't making much sense unless you know what I'm talking about.

After using it for many years, it's missing features I would like. Geofencing should be able to be used with a schedule and switch to an Away schedule whenever I'm a certain mile radius from my home and go back to my normal schedule when I get close to my home. Also I would like to be able to add another user to track before switching schedules. An easier way to change schedules instead of having a tap five times to do it. A widget to switch would be nice.

It's pretty straightforwardly simple. I did not expect it'd be needed or handy. However, being able to remotely adjust it or turn it off during a thunderstorm has been very useful. There's a basic reporting chart to track heating & cooling by month or over the past 7 days. You can also configure separate heading and cooling plans. Or, at a plan to maintain high and low temp together. That is, heat when too low and cool too high.
