Ill be one of the few that likes the app. Coming from Unifi Protect app, it is lacking a lot of features. But there are improvements since ive started using Axis the last year. The recent update includes a screenshot of the notification...THANK-YOU!! I really missed that from Protect. I only have a A8105 and a small dome camera currently since a Q6155 i have is off to be painted. So I can't really say much to the PTZ functions of the app. Sound works for me. Check your stream profile if not.

Poor performance for an App that's part of a global leader in CCTV... can no longer differentiate between motion and regular recording. Entire time-line shows "red", as if it's all motion. Camera station works fine..showing blue, and red when there's motion. Android and iPhone app both have this issue. Completely unacceptable for a company with millions of dollars in resources. In addition, constantly disconnects with "an unknown error has occurred" on live. Get it together, or become obsolete.

Thanks for your report! This is a temporary bug at the moment and will be addressed in the upcoming 5.42 version of ACS. A temporary workaround would be to set the continuous and event recording to record on different profiles.

TLDR-Axis user web account does not sync well with mobile app & mobile app support option opens a blank email with no recipient My Axis username does not show remote site cameras allocated to me, even though they are viewable on desktop webview with same Axis credentials. The support contact option in the app opens a blank email with no recipient - not very intuitive Considering Axis invented network cameras it is sad to see their app & ecosystem fall behind opposition in terms of "smarts"
