This app used to be okay until I had to reset my site for the newer app. It now prompts for a password and if correctly entered it just says : "Sorry! can't connect to any cameras." It used to function but is now brickrd by Axis. Next camera will not be Axis....

Has trouble connecting to one of my cameras. The issue is the software not the camera since the same camera has no problems with the Windows and iOS versions of the Axis Companion software. Even worse, after the Android companion software fails in its attempt to connect, the camera needs to be rebooted. Stay away from this app till they debug it. In the meantime the iOS client seems far more stable.

I have 7 Axis cameras around my house. They have the newest firmware and with the latest Companion version work great with this app. I can quickly view live streams on all 7 cameras and also view triggered motion detected events with no issues. I have a fast cable ISP at home and the Samsung S8 is on the 4G LTE network. The negative reviews must be from limited bandwidth at one or both ends.
