Long time Blackberry app user on BB phones and now on Android. Just transitioned to Moto Edge + 2023 with Android 14 and having issues with the BB Calendar not notifying for all reminders. I generally set up multiple reminders for important events (e.g. 30, 15, 5 minutes and start). The first reminder (30 min) will notify but none of the others will. Not sure if this is a permissions issue or a programmatic change that I'm unfamiliar with? Any suggestions welcome!

Hi, would you be able to expand on this issue you are experiencing? What type of account is this occurring on? Would you be able to give us the steps that you complete to experience this issue? Thanks for your review and thanks for using Calendar by Blackberry!

After moving from BB10 (a much superior OS, if BlackBerry hadn't screwed up it's launch), the Transfer app created multiple occurrences of the same appointments. I cannot delete the copies because when I open the appointments, there is no option to delete them. Some appointments which had relative event dates transferred properly, but there is no way for me to create new appointments with relative dates. The only reason to open an appointment, is to edit it. Why on earth should I have to choose the "Edit" icon after I just opened the appointment?? When editing an event, the two options are: 1) to change all past and future appointments in series [makes absolutely no sense to change past appointments--they are IN THE PAST], or 2) to change THIS AND all future appointments in the series. What if I only want to change THIS CURRENT APPOINTMENT??? That is the most common edit that I make, so that I can change the alarm from 7 days to 5 days, to 3 days, etc--to keep the item fresh in my mind. But I STILL want the original notification 7 DAYS prior! This app on BB10 gave the options to change: 1) this instance only or 2) this and all future events. It was this way in BlackBerry through multiple operating systems. Just a because it is being rewritten to utilize a new operating system is not a reason to change the flow chart. Edit: Years after migrating to your Droid platform, you have still not fixed the inability to delete multiple duplicate entries created by your Transfer app. Also, I still cannot create relative dates in your calendar. You still have not fixed the event edit choices. And I still cannot put anybody's real birthday or anniversary dates if they occurred before 1970. Really? SMH

The BlackBerry calendar is still a viable app, but it appears that it is no longer supported. If you send an email to the developer using the email they provide, you will receive this reply: "This mailbox is not monitored, no emails sent here are retained by BlackBerry and you will only receive an automated response." Why don't they delete this or have a new path to contact them? Like others, the newest update broke the ability to keep the calendar on "dark mode". Very irritating.
