I've long been a BlackBerry user, I've upgraded to the dtek50 and didn't appreciate just how lousy android is.. No idea how they've taken over.. The bb10 hub was brilliant. a simple, fast, elegant solution to organize and integrate all your accounts. The new version to accommodate android is a good gesture but doesn't feel integrated. It's redundant and just adds another icon to the sea.
As much as I am still loyal to blackberry as a brand, I feel the switch to android is destroying the blackberry feel for me. I use a priv presently and to be honest, I hate everything about it. I am green with envy when I see my sister happily using her blackberry passport as I am still a loyal fan of BB10. Please maintain a line of BB10 for those of us who still want to use the traditional blackberry phone. Not everyone wants to be forced in to using android. I am patiently waiting on blackberry mercury that is suppose to come out within the first quarter as announced. Please do not force me to change mobile phone brands.
I love having the Blackberry Hub and other services from Blackberry available on my Android. It makes using my phone much easier. And while the Hub doesn't do texting natively, it integrates very well with YAATA. I do wish we could pay for the subscription annually instead of monthly. I hate having monthly payments on software, but I think this software is worth it.
To have to update to see my hub or my contacts is ridiculous! With the last update, it lost all my inputted calendar appointments which included medical. This is nothing like how BlackBerry works. I thought the PRIV was a BlackBerry phone but appears to be run by Android under the gaze of BlackBerry. Very upset!
This app is in the forefront of efficiency. The Hub is a must. I'm asking BlackBerry to come up with a solution for dropped email accounts, receiving a weak signal to the SIM responder, dependence upon other operating systems. What happened to the BlackBerry operating system?
Sluggish and battery draining, we all know that, blackberry knows it. Now how much longer for something to be done about it? Have my priv over a year, still slow. Also we need a culture of transparency, we never get change logs on improvements. Get on that!
