Forget my password and after getting a reset code, I went back to change password and it says "too many attempts" and I got blocked when I tried to change once. Furthermore, data sent via app in not encrypted!!! How crazy is that and they want you to use your international credit card?? Read Data Safety information, info sent via app is not encrypted! Fix this nonsense so we can use it.

I encountered difficulties with the CBE bank app; it wouldn't even let me register, let alone use it to send money. Despite trying for two days, I was stuck on the purple loading screen, whether I was connected to Wi-Fi or using my data. It's crucial for such a large company to address these bugs and release an updated version. One would expect the technical team to be in sync with the latest reforms to prevent revenue loss.

I used the EthioDirect app to send money(100€) through CBE Birr(mobile wallet) on Saturday (02.11.2024). But the recipient hasn't received it yet. And the money has been withdrawn from my account already. I used the receiver full name and phone number to send the money. I usually use Western Union app to send money to an account or mobile wallet and the money is received the next day ,if not the same day. The support link under the profile menu actually closes the app ,hence can't get any help.
