Although the UI is simple and easy to use. That does not mean anything if information is not consistent throughout the app, and most services are down most of the time. Also, I see that forcing the user to turn off Android Dev Settings to use the app is unnecessary and creates inconvenience for users who want to use their devices for Android development 🙄. If you have certain security requirements, you would rather prefer to restrict the minSdk (since recent android releases are secure).

The previous version of the CBE application was relatively better. Recently, I was prompted to take some time to update it, and I did. However, since then, it hasn't worked, even when logging in to the app. My attempts to contact customer service were unsuccessful. What shame on the developer and the IT section of CBE.

The app needs a major update for transparency and usability. Show Fees First: Currently, the app hides the total cost until after the transaction is finished. For example, if I transfer 10 ETB, I only see the extra 11.50 ETB in fees on the receipt after the money is gone. We must see the Commission + VAT before clicking confirm. Cardless ATM Withdrawal: Please add a feature to order cash withdrawals from CBE ATMs directly through the app without needing a physical card.
