About this game

Major new update!

SPACEPLAN is an experimental piece of interaction based partly on a total misunderstanding of Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time. Use manual clicks and the passage of time to create and launch potato-based devices and probes from your nondescript satellite orbiting a mysterious planet. Unlock the mysteries of the galaxy or just kill some time in what the astrophysics community is calling the ‘best narrative sci-fi clicker game of all times’.

FEATURES

* Fifteen starchy items to unlock, create, and blast into the vacuum of space.

* Life affirming, silly story that will both captivate and help you kill time.

* Reveal the secrets of five different planets across two different realities.

* Banging soundtrack, as is customary in a narrative sci-fi clicker game.

This is one of the best idle games purely because it's not just the same repetitive make money, buy thing, make more money. Great art style and story and it even has cut scenes. However, the god forsaken Uranus scan portion makes me want to slam my head into a brick wall. I have spent countless minutes just barely missing the scan sections because of how hard the timing is to drop the slow moving wedge into the fast moving tiny scan areas. Please make it easier. It's an amazing game otherwise.

It's a really fun casual clicker style game. My only real complaint is that there's only an option at the end to delete your save and start over. I'd have liked some kind of freeplay mode after to mess around with and go to whatever planets you want, or maybe even custom scenarios. Otherwise, great music, good story that has some funny moments, and very simple to play.

This is a short little game, but it brought me great joy. The controls are easy to figure out, and the progression is not difficult at all. It really is an idle game: come in, buy a few upgrades, let it run while you're distracted, come back in a few hours and repeat. The gameplay is fine, really, but the plot is what makes this game shine. The terrible physics made me smile, and there's a sequence at the end that had me cackling alone in my car. Plus: potatoes. So many potato puns.
