About this app

The Integrated Transport Centre(ITC) presents the new update of Darbi application for Abu Dhabi residents and visitors. Darbi Mobile provides an “Intelligent Transport System in the palm of your hand”. The application requires at least 3G network or Wi-Fi access. For many of the system functions, an access to GPS location information on the smartphone is also required.

Darbi app provides the users with live data on traffic conditions, traffic incidents and road works in Abu Dhabi. In addition, it provides access to road service patrol. Users can also plan journey around Abu Dhabi city and get real time information of Bus schedules and facilitate Toping up Hafilat Card.

The app also enables users to book a taxi, pay for on-street Mawaqif parking, and obtain ferry schedule information. It also enables them to contact ITC through a “Geofeedback” feature to report any complains related to transportation services.

Ratings and reviews

Not at all user friendly. Buttons don't have discriptions, for new users who don't know the bus lines there is no guide on map. The worst part is they could have easily made this available to work offline (without the bus timing) however it doesn't work at all in offline. If you are stuck outside in the city with no data you are done for. Sometimes the app doesn't even load the map for hours at a time even after clearing cache or reinstalling. They backend sever is also not reliable.

The app has some certain bugs, you can not save a location unless you create an account, I had tried many times to create one, I type in my email, name & password & then receive an OTP, but it is never accepted by the app.. Google maps links, coordinates are not accepted by the app, the only way to pass coordinates is when you have already saved a location using Whatsapp location icon. if it is to be completely independent of Google Map, then you should introduce reliable navigation service

Not profissional. You can't find the information easly. No direct buttons to serve you and save time, you have to enter more than one page to reach what you are looking for. The grafics shows the unprofessional design and work. I have Dubai drive application which is an application with same feature as DARBI But for dubai and i can feel the difference.
