About this app

Use the Fitbit ECG app to check your heart for signs of atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm. You can create a PDF of your results to share with a healthcare provider.

To take your first reading, follow these steps:
1. In the Play Store app on your Pixel Watch, search for the Fitbit ECG app.
2. Tap the Fitbit ECG app and tap Install.
3. Open the Fitbit ECG tile on your watch. If you haven't set up the Fitbit app on your phone, you're prompted to do so. Follow the instructions to install and log in to the Fitbit app on your phone.
4. Reopen the Fitbit ECG tile to take a measurement.

The Fitbit ECG app is available on the Wear OS platform for Pixel Watch in select countries. It is not intended for use by people under 22 years old.

Worked great before. Now, this month, maybe after a recent update?, it doesn't work anymore. When I try to activate it, it says "To get started, open the fitbit mobile app. I press the icon to open the app on the phone. The phone goes to an informational page on Heart Rhythm Assessment. After closing the page, I'm in the fitbit app on the phone, but the ecg still doesn't work. FIX THIS ASAP!!

This app is terrible! It used to work on my original Pixel watch. it has never worked on my Pixel 2 watch. Fitbit and Google obviously don't care. They can continue to claim and advertise that they have an ECG app, which I guess is technically true, even though the app doesn't actually work.

Not sure about how accurate it is. But if it is accurate then this would be a great for those who regularly need to get ecg checked.
