About this app

Looking to track your level of ketosis? You’ve come to the right place

We have built what we believe to be the world’s best way to track ketosis non-invasively. All it takes is one breath - no more needles; no more recurring costs.

Acetrack was built by Anders Murman - a physicist with extensive background in med-tech. Prior to building Acetrack, Anders was working on breathalyzers that measured nitric oxide. He is no stranger to this space and how to build devices that are accurate and repeatable.

Although Acetrack is not intended as a medical device, Anders’ experience has enabled us to build a very high quality product.

Acetrack measures breath acetone - a byproduct of ketone metabolism

What sets Acetrack apart from other acetone breathalyzers?

1. Acetrack reports measurements in PPM (parts per million). This maps 1:1 with the physical reality of your breath. Many other companies report measurements in a proprietary scale (say a number between 1 and 10) rather than in PPM. We believe in data transparency. Why convert PPM to some scale only we know about?

2. We do not cap to low PPMs like other devices. Some devices have capped as low as 40 PPM. If you are deep into ketosis you may max out such a device limiting its usefulness to you (by say always blowing 40 PPM). We do not provide such a cap

3. We are the first (and only at the time of this writing) ketone breathalyzer to include a pressure sensor. This allows us to guide a user’s breath such that they get repeatable measurements

4. We are led by real users. Some of us use Acetrack multiple times a day. We want to make Acetrack a beautiful hardware and software experience - for both us as users and for you :)

We very much want to make Acetrack as transparent and open as possible.

To support this, we publish our software roadmap here: https://feedback.getacetrack.com/roadmap. Here you will find what we are up to

On this same site, you can provide us with feedback and vote on features you’d like to see implemented: https://feedback.getacetrack.com/

We will be actively paying attention to all of our channels that connect us with you, our users. And with your help we will build something all of us are going to enjoy

We are very glad that you have chosen to take your metabolic health seriously and look forward to providing you with support in any way we can - welcome to the team

If you don’t yet have a device, you can purchase one here: https://shop.getacetrack.com/
