Ratings and reviews

I had to change to a 2 star from a 5. After being on this site for 3 years, I moved over to boat setter. It's set up better for boat owners and they offer insurance, this site is hard to navigate, you have to make changes to your listings from the website, not the app, then they have cancelled bookings for no reason before, then putting them back on an hour before they start with a lame apology. The app glitches and will let you book multiple bookings for the same time, there's so much more..

I tried to accept a booking on this app but after multiple attempts it kept telling me that my credit card information was wrong. I called support and they told me that my security code was wrong but my Google autofill told me it was correct. After that I went to the website, Google autofilled everything again and it worked. Seems to be a problem with the app. I love the idea but the app needs more work. I used the Android app.

I booked a pontoon boat with a jet ski for one day. The owner was having issues with the pontoon, understandable. Owner gave us 2 jet skis for the price of one with extra time. Upon contacting getmyboat for my refund, their constant excuse was that they couldn't get in contact with the owner. I was able to pick up the phone, text or call and he would get back to me. Took 2 weeks for them to get in contact with him after he told me he had done so. Save yourself the trouble and rent from marinas.

What's new

We constantly update our app to improve your Getmyboat experience. The new "Invite Captain" feature lets Owners email invites to their network of Captains, requesting them to join their Getmyboat qualified list. Once validated, Captains are available for selection to helm your trip. We're dedicated to enhancing your experience by continually improving our comprehensive platform to meet your needs.
