BOOOOOOO to this last update from a few days ago 😭 The voice no longer sounds soft and real. It's incredibly computer generated and hard. I've combed through every single setting and cannot find the voice I used prior. I use this app multiple hours every single day. I'm beyond disappointed and sad. Please revert back I beg you!!!!!!! From 5 stars down to 2 just like that 😭😭😭

this app is single-handedly getting me through grad school, lol. it's really a wonderful app! It's the only way I've been able to keep up with the pace of graduate school level readings of dense academic texts without having to resort to skimming. I love that it lets me adjust the pitch and speed of the voice and highlights the sentence it's reading aloud. I can read on my commutes to/from work. the ads are all 5-sec and not too frequent. and the ad-free version is reasonable priced

Plenty of features, but they're set up in the clunkiest way and the little symbols for them are unintuitive. I shouldn't have to tap around for 15 minutes just to figure out how to paste text into it, ffs. (Just let me long-press and hit "paste" like I can in literally every other interface.) The voices are fine. The labels are a nightmare BUT you seem to be able to rename/customize them, so that's a huge plus. Overall good. I think the bugs will work themselves out eventually.
