About this app

@Voice Floating Button Plugin is not a stand-alone application. It is for use with @Voice Aloud Reader only, providing a "floating" button that stays on top of any other screen, until disabled. Provides Play/Pause functions, and upon long press shows or hides two smaller side buttons that let you advance or backup reading aloud by sentences, or upon long press - jump to the next or previous article on your reading list. Easily move to any place on the screen, or hide/show the button from the notification.

In the main @Voice app, activate this button through the Settings menu - Screen and sleep timer settings - Show @Voice floating button... checkbox.

edit: with having the controls its great. .. Good addition I wish the options were more clear. I couldn't find any helpful information on the website. I was able to find if you long press the floating play button it will remove the forward and back buttons. You can also resize the buttons. I originally had them quite small and now they are obnoxiously huge.

Double-tap side button to change the overall size of all 3 buttons, they cycle between 4 different sizes from small to huge. People using the @Voice app in a car find huge buttons useful to quickly hit Play or Pause, or Skip, while driving.

I love the float-over buttons and it reads really well. However, it reads whatever it wants to read, not what I want it to read. For example, I have it over my browser screen, but it reads from the Kindle book. Once I finally get it out of the Kindle book by randomly stopping and restarting, it starts reading the browser screen, but not the active window. but rather another one that I closed couple hours ago. Does anyone else has the same experience?

A complete misunderstanding what @Voice app and buttons do. To send the current page to @Voice app for reading, in web browser (or other apps), press the "Share" menu function or button, then choose @Voice icon on the next screen. Only then the current text or link is sent to @Voice app and can be read.

I loved this button, but the last two days it's been glitching - sometimes when I tap it it increases drastically in size and will not revert back to a small manageable size. I have to uninstall it, reinstall it, and then reset settings to use it, and then it happens again. I love this plugin, but it needs to be fixed before I'll try this again because I'm super frustrated!!!

Double-tap on >> or << buttons changes their size. It cycles between small, bigger, big and huge. Some people need huge buttons to use e.g. when driving.
