I've been subscribed to Kagi for about 4mo now, and I'm never going back to ad-supported search ever again! With Kagi, you're the customer, not the product. No ads, no tracking, no telemetry. Just excellent search results, and a ton of advanced options to customize your experience. Plus, its integrated AI (FastGPT) easily allows you to interact with your search results. I've been recommending Kagi to everyone I know, and so far everyone who's tried it has fallen in love. Kagi is awesome!

By far the best search engine I've tried, but the app is prone to hanging or not responding requiring reboot. Also, Kagi maps works very poorly on mobile, with edges of the UI cut off, no option to route journeys and it's unresponsive when clicking on POIs. I'm sure this will improve over time, but the app needs work.

Search results are good and there's plenty to customize. However, 5 USD per month for just 300 searches are too expensive considering there are many worthwhile free alternatives like DuckDuckGo, Qwant etc. Also I am not interested in AI features at all for various reasons and don't want to finance it.
