What if 🇯🇵 Japanese vocabulary learning would be a crazy fun game instead of boring memorisation drills? Drops makes language learning an effortless fun. Practical vocabulary is bound to your memories through beautiful graphics and quick mini-games.
The crazy part? You have only 5 mins per day. Might sound insane but works like charm! :)
These are the ingredients of the secret sauce:
👀 100% illustrated: Pictures directly carry the meaning - you don’t have to use your native language at all! No intermediary. Faster, more effective and of course more fun! :)

⚡Qucik: Keyboard typing is painfully slow. Welcome rapid swipes and taps! Trust us, you’ll need those extra seconds during the quick learning session ;)
🎯 Vocabulary only: Zero grammar, just handpicked practical words. That’s our focus and we do it extremely well. The app teaches the Korean “alphabet” Hangul (hangoul) too!
💁Forge a habit: Drops wants to make you language learning addict. Effectiveness is nothing without a well established habit. We help you build one!
We are extremely proud of our lovely word pronunciations by seasoned voice talents!

I've been using this as a vocab supplement alongside other forms of studying, and it's been doing a pretty good job thus far! I haven't tried turning it off yet, but I do wish there were less exercises that relied on the roman alphabet---as that is counter productive in the long run. I also appreciate being able to skip over some of the foundations, unlike in some other apps. I'm a beginner, but not an absolute one, and it's nice to be able to skip over hiragana.

I just started using Drops, and haven't really gotten longer than a few days streak at a time, but it is very fun and I enjoy the various topics and pictures. I wish this was my introduction to Japanese learning, since half of everything is already a little familiar. Still, I look forward to using this as a steady way to increase my vocabulary.

I think this app is perfect for reviewing words. Might not work as well as flashcards but it's more fun and I wanna keep coming back to it! The only thing I don't like is when you have to writing out the word. When the bubble nudges its like I don't wanna see that and it does it way too soon. I wanna find it for myself and I have to rush myself to avoid it. Kinda defeats the purpose.
