Ratings and reviews

Lucid owner since few months coming from a Tesla. While the car is fun, the Android app falls far short of expectations. Basic functionality is lacking as the app takes long to load and connect (5-7 sec), pressing buttons to use functions (charger port, frunk) doesn't do anything at times and proximity unlock is a hit or miss when using the phone. It doesn't have features like lower windows for cooling, monitor tire pressure or control charging speeds. It's got few updates but still ways to go!

The newest version of the app works pretty darn well. Car wakes up in under 10 seconds from sleep a vast majority of the time and general functionality is excellent. The only minor nitpick I can think of is the lack of a few additional functions like the ability to crack open the windows slightly during warmer temperatures, but I would consider additional features like that a bonus.

App is really slow to wake up the car in general, and as of yesterday (12/16/24) the app won't wake up the car remotely anymore. It worked in the morning (although still very slow) but not since the afternoon. I tried reinstalling app, restarting phone, etc and it doesn't work anymore. Hopefully it gets fixed soon and then I will likely change my review to 3 stars at most bc it still isn't that great or reliable.
