Ratings and reviews

Since I upgraded to Android 15, I absolutely hate the new standard weather app. This one is a great alternative, although I do wish it had a widget. The design is clean and minimalist, there are no ads, information is presented in a clear and understandable way. You can easily go into the settings to change the units if you are based in the US and would like to see temperatures in Fahrenheit etc.

I used v8 of the weather channel but it quit working, newer has nothing but ads so I saw this. I love the basic, minimal style yet desired details. I look for general forecast, est time to start and the detailed map. the rain/snow accumulation is an added bonus most ignore. No care about widgets as many state. A big thing for me is the radar doesn't zoom in enough to the neighborhood or street level. Most start with green for rain so the blue will be an adjustment.

After Samsung ruined the weather widgets in One UI 7 Overmorrow has become the app I want to stick with, really like the look of it! Glad to see from their GitHub the dev working on widgets, which will make this a fixture on my homescreen when they arrive.
