About this app

App will find all hosts in your home network or in selected IP range. It can be used not only to know who are using your WiFi and learn more about every device, but also for professional tasks: dynamically port scanning and ability to filter hosts by opened ports allows to find a server of needed service in selected network. IP scanner supports 4 modes for scan - arp read, icmp ping, udp ping, dns request. Also you can select used dns server manually to scan your private networks. This is only little part of abilities of this network scanner.

App contains common network tools those help to make diagnostics:
• Ping
• Traceroute
• Port scanner
• IP calculator
• Wake On Lan
• Network information screen

Only app I have found that will scan ethernet connection, but it has a major issue. You can scan the IP addresses on ethernet, but all the tools do not work. No ping, port scan, etc. It also says it needs location data even though precise location has been always allowed. If this is fixed then I would pay for the premium. Also, it will not scan on wifi. So as of now it is a broken ethernet scanner with no usable tools. Just lists IP addresses found.

useful tool for snapshot analysis of the overall health of your home or business network. However, I very much dislike that when you save a network your scanning range does not save with everything else. Have to keep changing the scan ranges each time even after loading a saved configuration. My network spans multiple VLANs/subnet ranges in different class B and C networks. I would hope that they can incorporate these settings into saving the scan results for faster recall and rescan

Great, simple to use. I already have the Fing app that I use and it works pretty good, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to label each individual device, but with Network Scanner it's very simple to label all connected devices and with a little picture you can assign to it. I keep Fing because it has a great speed tester on it, but this app is definitely worth the download, has ads but they are not overbearing.
